JC Auditors is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this policy. JC Auditors collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
METHODS USED TO COLLECT PERSONAL DATA FROM AND ABOUT YOU
Direct interactions: You may give us your Identity, Contact, Profile, Financial (Customers only), Marketing and Communications Data by populating your online profile, changing details in Your Account, filling in online forms or by communicating with us. If you are a user who registers online for any training courses or webinars or requests a quote, we will receive your application and personal data associated with it.
Automated technologies or interactions: As you interact with the Website, we collect Technical Data and Usage Data including details of your device, browsing actions and patterns, searches, traffic data, web logs and other communication data and the resources that you access. We collect this personal data by using cookies, tracking codes, server logs and other similar technologies. IP ADDRESSES AND COOKIES
We may collect information about your computer, including (where available) your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and statistical purposes.

We send all new members a welcoming email to verify their username and password. Users also have the choice to subscribe to our newsletters. A user can unsubscribe from the newsletters at any time from both our site and the newsletter itself.
JC Auditors may use your information to contact you about promotions and services. You are entitled, at any stage, to opt out of this service, by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” option on the email correspondence. This will redirect you to the unsubscribe page where you will be able to unsubscribe from the communication you received.
From time to time, we may send out essential communication related to the contracted services, where applicable. Users are not able to unsubscribe from these essential communications, which contain important information about the service that JC Auditors provides to its customers in terms of the written agreement in place.
You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or purchased services from us or if you provided us with your details when you requested a quote or registered for information and, in each case, you have not opted out of receiving that marketing.
SECURITY AND DATA STORAGE
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information online. When asked to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), the information is encrypted and is protected via secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption technology.
We also do everything in our power to protect user information offline. Access to all of our users’ information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our admin and audit team) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure, access-controlled environment. If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as their email address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal details provided to us.
