Course Objectives

To provide delegates with a basic working knowledge of the legal requirements as stipulated by the OHS Act and Regulations and the ISO 45001 legal requirements. Delegates will leave with a copy of the OHS Act and Regulations in a booklet format, with the important sections highlighted and an understanding as to who to apply these in their workplace.

Method of Evaluation

Delegates will be assessed on a written evaluation (open book). Certificates are issued accordingly.

Facilitator

Hugh Davies is ex-SABS, has guided over 330 companies through to successful ISO9001/14001/22000/50001/17025 & OHSAS18001 / 45001 certification and worked with several certification bodies since 1993. This experience gained and the approach by the external auditors is shared with the delegates in a practical manner. He is a Graduate Member of SA Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (SAIOSH).
